It is great to see Sam Raimi back in the genre that originally got him recognized, Horror. Sam being the architect of the Evil Dead trilogy brings one of the best horror films in a long time to the screen. Drag me to Hell delivers consistent scares a good share of laughs and a few twists. Raimi completely gets the genre and never hold back. Drag me to Hell proves that a good story and quality effects can produce a great film regardless of rating.  Raimi’s great visual style is in full display here, the effects in the film are used quite well and the relationship of Christine and her boyfriend Clay Dalton (Justin Long) is completely believable and adds to the story rather than feel like its just filler to get you from one scare to the next.  The worst part of the movie is thinking of what else Raimi could have made had he not been laboring away strictly on the Spiderman movies for so long.  Simply put Raimi easily delivers the best horror film this decade.
