A team of highly trained guinea pigs band together to avoid the FBI and save the world from a billionaire’s evil plot.
Zach Galifinakas stars a Ben a member of the FBI who runs a small group of animals that he has trained to work as agents.  When there first time in the field goes bad the FBI wants to hunt to shut them down and destroy all the evidence including the trained animals. G-force must escape the FBI while at the same time redeem themselves by shutting down an evil plot to destroy the world with household appliances.

Let’s not kid ourselves this is a movie with computer animated guinea pigs as secret agents if you are watching this movie you don’t expect it to be a cinematic masterpiece.  Furthermore the movie is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer so you know its style over substance from the get go. Kids will like the movie and it has its own bit of charm the will entertain the adults. G-Force has  a great cast of voice actors including Sam Rockwell (Darwin), Penelope Cruz (Juarez), Steve Buscemi, (Bucky), Nicolas Cage (Speckles), Jon Favreau (Hurley) and the always entertaining Tracy Morgan(Blaster).

The movie really shines though in the 3-D format, it was definitely made to be viewed in 3-D and has come a long way from blue and red paper glasses. You get every imaginable cheap 3-D gag that you can think of including the ever popular snake while in a pet shop.  Without 3-D this is probably a movie that you could wait for the DVD but if 3-D is your thing I definitely recommend seeing this in the theater.
