You are probably wondering why on earth is there a sequel to a film that can only be described as extremely, ridiculously not good at all. You might be thinking that Nicolas Cage only makes movies because he is in a huge amount of debt and doesn’t actually read a script. I think Nick being the noble man he is wanted fame without cashing in on his birth name of Coppola, He decided to head to the crossroads and get famous the only other way he knew how, Make a deal with the Devil.
The deal was a success he got an Oscar and in turn he has to pay his debt to Lucifer, not with his soul but rather by finding new ways to keep making the worst movies ever made. I am pretty confident that is how it went down, although I have no evidence or sources to back this up, truth be told I just made it up. It was much easier than to accept that the original made 228 million dollars not counting DVD.
