The mini film festival, which is being launched in partnership with Cinemark USA and Twentieth Century Fox, features all-time classic movies digitally re-mastered for the big screen; including a newly restored version of the beloved Academy Award® winning musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! (1955). Other classic screenings include Moulin Rouge! (2001), Director Baz Luhrmann’s Oscar®-winning drama starring Nicole Kidman, Ewan McGregor and John Leguizamo; and Hello, Dolly! (1969), the Academy Award-winning romantic comedy directed by Gene Kelly starring Barbra Streisand and Walter Matthau.
The price to see all three films is just $15. That includes concessions discounts, trivia contests and a coupon good for savings on Fox Home Entertainment purchases. In addition to the screenings of the three classics, “My Favorite Musicals” will feature special guest introductions, live performances, in theatre promotions and giveaways, dinner and entertainment specials, as well as local retail tie-ins and promotions.
