Universal says “The Thing serves as a prelude to John Carpenter’s classic 1982 film of the same name” apparently marketing didn’t like remake or reboot and now is trying to say its a prelude(which sounds better than remake of a remake). Call it what you want its an updated version starring Conan O’brien Joel Edgerton(Warrior).

and of course The trailer to John Carpenters, which itself was a remake of 1951′s The Thing from another world.

Apparently nobody got the memo that Green Lantern was terrible and not worth the time nor effort to parody it. Although in all honesty you could stick your hand up a socks ass and make it more entertaining. Here’s to hoping that Kermit doesn’t have to square up against a giant puppet that looks like a cloud of feces.

Uh.. am I the only one that is disappointed with this? I know Spiderman 3 was terrible but to reboot it and turn it into an angsty superhero twilight origin tale that nobody was asking for  is not the way to go. The first person stuff is easily the best part but looks like a video game.
