The 2014 Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) announces that AT&T, the new presenting sponsor, has created FILM FOR ALL FRIDAY – where individual tickets to all film screenings on Friday, April 25 will be FREE.
Thirty-five films will be screened at the Festival venues throughout the day, including Time is Illmatic, which takes a look at legendary rapper Nas and his iconic debut album 20 years after its release; a work-in-progress screening of Louie Psihoyos’ (The Cove) new documentary 6 on a team of activists who risk their lives to shed light on species extinction; Gia Coppola’s directorial debut Palo Alto staring Emma Roberts and James Franco; the comedic drama The One I Love starring Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass; and This Time Next Year, a documentary that examines the recovery of a town one year after Hurricane Sandy.
From April 14 – 17 consumers can receive free tickets to a screening of their choice at all AT&T Company-Owned retail locations in all boroughs, including two locations in New Jersey – Hoboken and Edgewater – where tickets will be emailed upon selection to each consumer. Tickets can also be obtained at the TFF box office locations during this time*. Beginning April 17, in addition to the AT&T locations and box office, and subject to availability, Festival goers can go to TribecaFilm.com and get tickets to a free screening. Additional free tickets may be accessed for all Friday April 25 screenings through the Festival Rush Lines that open 45 minutes prior to each screening on a first-come, first-serve basis. All tickets are subject to availability and two screening tickets per person.
The 2014 Tribeca Film Festival will take place from April 16 – 27.
