Directed by Bill Carey, produced by Scott Dolezal, Bruce Garlick and starring Alicia Silverstone, AJ Michalka and Billy Burke, the film is a touching coming-of-age story of an imaginative small-town teenaged girl who struggles to realize her potential, with the help of her imaginary friend, The Cowboy, in a peculiar community built on an abandoned drive-in movie lot along the Texas/Oklahoma border.
