Well, you asked for it! You wanted more magical movie mayhem and you’ve got it as The Big Picture Show serves up September’s veritable smorgasbord of must-see pics. The shiny-eyed Riddick kicks things off this month as Vin Diesel’s iconic intergalactic bad’un returns in a sci-fi actioner threequel. Not to be outdone, Man Of The Moment Channing Tatum tools up to protect Jamie Foxx’s President in White House Down and Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, is behind the wheel for director Ron Howard’s eagerly-anticipated F1 biopic, Rush. Meanwhile Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges are getting R.I.P.D. as two undead lawmen tasked with keeping evil spirits at bay in a brilliantly bonkers comic book-inspired caper. And rounding out a top month at the movies, it’s taut thriller Prisoners starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal.
