Artist + Accomplice exists to connect the collector, aka “the accomplice,” directly with with the artist through studio visits. The site features work available for sale by one artist at a time while building a collection as each new artist is presented every month. The month of December 2013 features Christine Rebet.
The pacing is deliberately slowed, compared to other art-sales websites, to allow more space for the viewer to engage with the selected work. Schedule a studio visit through A+A to meet the artist, see more art and learn about the larger context and trajectory of their work. The studio visit is strongly encouraged when and where possible, but also on the website you have the opportunity to click “own this work” to purchase immediately.
