Who doesn’t love a superhero movie? No matter if they’re super serious or seriously funny, there’s nothing which unites film fans more than a great superhero franchise brought to the big screen.
One thing we can’t all seem to agree upon, however, is which movie comes out on top. Comment boards and forums are filled with the ultimate debates of which film is best and which superhero really is the most super.

Thankfully, it would seem the arguments can finally stop. Ladbrokes Games conducted a survey all across the UK to discover just which superhero comes out on top. Hundreds took part and the battle was long and tough but a winner has finally been revealed.
The hugely popular Dark Knight trilogy, starring Christian Bale and directed by Christopher Nolan, was hailed as the very best superhero franchise around. But which of the trilogy came out on top?
It’s close, but the critically acclaimed The Dark Knight came out on top, just behind The Dark Knight Rises.
Starring the late Heath Ledger as The Joker, few films have blown away audiences quite as well as the second film in this landmark movie trilogy. Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway also made an impression as Bane and Catwoman respectively, showing we’re a nation of Batman lovers through and through.
Real Life Fantasies
The bat-loving doesn’t stop at just the films. Life would be significantly more awesome with real superhero gadgets, whether it’s Wonder Woman’s invisible plane or Spiderman’s web shooters. However, Batman came out on top once again in the desirable transport department.
The iconic Batmobile remains to be the most desirable superhero vehicle, even more so now that it’s decked out with the Batpod for situations where the Batmobile isn’t quite sleek or quick enough.
So there we have it! We can finally all agree that The Dark Knight is the best superhero film ever made…or is it?!
