LLEJU PRODUCTIONS REUNITES WITH DIRECTOR JOHN STOCKWELL FOR ‘CAT RUN 2′

Production Underway in New Orleans

January 28, 2014 – LLeju Productions will reunite with director John Stockwell (Blue Crush, Crazy/Beautiful) for CAT RUN 2, the sequel to 2011’s CAT RUN which was directed by Stockwell and starred Scott Mechlowicz (EuroTrip), Alphonso McAuley (Walk of Shame, Glory Road), Paz Vega, Janet McTeer, Christopher McDonald, and DL Hughley.

Stockwell will return to direct with Mechlowicz and McAuley reprising their roles alongside Winter Ave Zoli (Hellboy), Gregory Alan Williams (Remember the Titans, Old School) and Leonardo Nam (The Fast and the Furious: Toyko Drift).  CAT RUN 2 is based on a script by Andrew & Matt Manson from a story by LLeju’s William O. Perkins, who will produce alongside Bic Tran.  The film is currently in production in New Orleans.

“We knew from the moment we finished working on the original CAT RUN that the characters were destined for future adventures.  Andrew & Matt have penned a funny and entertaining script that will appeal to fans of the original and new audiences alike,” said LLeju’s Founder and President William O. Perkins.

CAT RUN 2 follows Julian (Alphonso McAuley) and Anthony (Scott Mechlowicz) who return to find themselves neck deep in mysterious murders, and beautiful assassins in the Deep South where they romp through military bases, swamps, and cooking festivals.

LLeju Productions is in post-production on Frank & Cindy starring Rene Russo (Thor, The Thomas Crown Affair) and Golden Globe nominated-Oliver Platt (X-Men: First Class, 2012) and most recently produced Derreck Borte’s Dark Around the Stars.
