For anyone who has been to the catacombs you know its a creepy place to visit, You enter an unassuming structure, purchase a ticket and go down some stairs. Soon you are in a half mile of tunnels with skeletal remains beautifully stacked on each side. Its a bit unnerving even though you are not allowed to explore the expanse of tunnels which go traverse underneath a great expanse of Paris. Mind you there is no way these would be viewable to the public in America. Our PC culture would have shut this down right quick, let alone alone allow tourists with toddlers and young children to wander around without putting up some form of protective barrier. There truly isn’t a greater backdrop for a horror film.
