New HD transfer from original 35mm negative comes to Blu-ray and DVD on October 29th

NEW YORK, NY – SEPTEMBER 23, 2013 – Continuing its distribution through Kino Lorber to release its acclaimed Blu-ray and DVD releases in the US, Raro Video is proud to announce the release of Hanging for Django (1969), an action-packed Spaghetti Western directed by Sergio Garrone.

This Blu-ray and DVD edition from Raro Video is digitally restored and features a new HD transfer from the original 35mm negative. The extra features include a video documentary, “Bounty Killer for a Massacre”, as well as new and improved English subtitle translation, a fully illustrated booklet, and the original theatrical trailer. The street date for the Blu-ray and DVD is October 29, 2013. The Blu-ray SRP is $24.95, and the DVD SRP is $19.95.

Hanging for Django tells the story of a bounty hunter who teams up with another bounty hunter to put an end to an outlaw band that has been smuggling illegal immigrants into the country to sell as slaves.
