The IFCS Releases List of Winners for the Seventh Consecutive Year, Honoring Both Big Budget Films and Independent Masterpieces
Richard Linklater’s “Before Midnight” Takes Top Prize
Bruce Dern for “Nebraska” Honored with Best Actor Award
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 13th, 2014) – The Internet Film Critic Society announced the winners of their 7th Annual Movie Awards, giving the top honor (Best Drama) to Richard Linklater’s “Before Midnight.” Spike Jonze won the Best Director prize for the film “Her.” Other awards went to Adam Wingard’s “You’re Next” (Best Horror or Science Fiction), “Pacific Rim” (Best Action Film), and “The Wolf of Wall Street” (Best Comedy). Bruce Dern picked up the award for Best Actor for his performance in “Nebraska” and Adele Exarchopoulos won Best Actress for her role in “Blue is the Warmest Color.”
