Top Casino Scenes In The Godfather

The movie classic that is ‘The Godfather’ has influenced
generations since its release in 1972. The million dollar organized
crime, the beautiful cast and of course the amazing casino scenes. With
so many glamorous casino related scenes in the series it leaves one
question, which ones are the best?
The casino scene has grown and changed extremely quickly and the
godfather films were influenced like everybody else, amazed with the
classy atmosphere and beautiful locations. The first godfather film has
the unmistakable horses head scene, where a champion horse is murdered
in order to create ‘An offer than cannot be refused’. The second
installment featured gambling more than the other films, as the new Don,
Michael Corleone is trying to acquire a gaming license for his family.
The beautiful suits are shown throughout the trilogy and fit in
perfectly with the classy casino scene. The second installment shows a
brilliant casino club, the beautiful show girls and flashing lights
perfectly assist the suited cast as they discuss potential investments.
Later in the third film the same group of investors are gathered around
a more private table, at this point in the trilogy the group are ready
to leave the gangster lifestyle and they are discussing what share each
partner will receive. Unfortunately for them, the meeting is rudely
interrupted by a helicopter loaded with guns!
The gambling scene has grown very quickly and so change has always been
a part of this, the godfather trilogy shows it brilliantly as throughout
the trilogy it is always changing and growing. Since then gambling has
lost the gangster association and has become a social and immersive
online scene on sites like CasinoOnline.co.nz. Anyone can
now relax with a cup of tea and play bingo or tune in and play some
tournament poker, no guns and showgirls needed.
