It was only a matter of time before someone decided to parody the shallow and worthless lives of people featured on Bravo’s myriad of Housewives shows. I am surprised it hasnt been done sooner. Thanks Hulu for picking up the slack.

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 8, 2014) – Paramount Digital Entertainment announced today a new series premiering on Hulu called “The Hotwives of Orlando,” starring Casey Wilson (“Happy Endings”), Angela Kinsey (“The Office”), Kristen Schaal (“Flight of the Conchords”), Tymberlee Hill (“Drunk History”), Danielle Schneider (“Upright Citizens Brigade”) and Andrea Savage (“Step Brothers”) as the Hotwives along with special performances by Kate Walsh (Private Practice), “Weird Al” Yankovic (“Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!”), Joey McIntyre (“The Heat”), Stephen Tobolowsky (“Glee”), Paul Scheer (“The League”) and many more. The series, coming exclusively to Hulu and Hulu Plus in 2014, is produced by Emmy© Award-winning producers Jonathan Stern and Paul Scheer, and Paramount Digital Entertainment, the studio behind the Emmy© nominated “Burning Love.”
The inaugural season takes you inside the uber-exclusive and glamorous world of six hot housewives livin’ large in Central Florida’s sexiest city, Orlando. The show follows a cast of ladies as they fight over pretty much everything except for their love of shoes, plastic surgery, and the pursuit of spending all of their husbands’ money. “When we found out that shows like ‘The Real Housewives’ and ‘Basketball Wives’ weren’t actually parodies, we figured we needed to get on it ASAP,” said Executive Producers Jonathan Stern and Paul Scheer.
A first look at the series will be featured at The CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards this Year from January 8pth – January 10th. Producers Stern and Scheer will be attending CES this year on behalf of the new show.
